AutoTissue GmbH

The AutoTissue GmbH is a biotechnology-company. It was founded in autumn 2000 by scientists of the Clinic for Cardiovascular Surgery of the Charité and by the Charité itself in Berlin. By techniques of Tissue Engineering based on human cells individual implants are developed with less side effects. With these implants pathological tissues can be specifically replaced by surgery.

All products of the company have the goal to form implants by the patients own cells. Because of the minimized side effects our products have the advantage of a better quality of life for the patients. Key technology of AutoTissue is a soft and complete removal of all foreign cells and cell components while conservating the structures of the extracellular matrix completely.

AutoTissue now also offers customer services related to the biological safety of medical devices.
